The number of kids you choose to have is a very personal decision. However, if your doctor is recommending that you consider not having any more kids based on something that he saw last time you had a C-section you should weigh this heavily while you’re making your decision. What he’s concerned about is the uterine rupture and that is where once we’ve done a C-section it creates a weak point on the uterus. It’s the same thing as if I were to make an incision down by bicep and then start lifting heavy weights. It could cause it to burst open. The same thing can happen to your uterus with a subsequent pregnancy. That is life threatening to mom and baby and I’m sure that’s why he’s telling you these things so that you can consider it as you’re making your decision.
